The first round of the Vitus Gravity Enduro Series was held in Ticknock, Dublin. After practicing all day on Saturday in the dry the heavy rain overnight and on Sunday morning made for very testing conditions. I had some issues however still managed a great performance to finish 5th in the Pro Men category.
The race this weekend was really good fun, the quality of the tracks down south are amazing and have a great mix of terrain to suit all style of riders, I was really looking forward to racing on them. The conditions on Sunday morning were brutal and made it very challenging to have a clean run, after having two solid stages my luck ran out on stage 3 having 2 small crashes and one over the bar crash it was fair to say I was glad to see the finish line on this stage! For the final stage 4 I just kept it safe and steady and had a clean run. In the end I came in 5th overall knowing I had thrown it away on stage 3 but I was happy with how I was feeling on the bike.
