This weekend saw the 2nd round of the Irish Winter Series which was being held in Bree Hill, County Wexford. It was a track that I had not been to in a few years and was cool to come back and see all the work that the locals have done. I was excited to get going, practice went well for me, I was having fun on the track which flowed really well even with the amount of rain during the day. I went for a quick tyre change to the Schwalbe Dirty Dan before the end of practice and rushed off for one final practice run.
My seeding run went well, I hit all my lines, only made one minor mistake and came down into 2nd place just behind Dan. You can see my seeding run which I captured on my Contour ROAM here – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1MQ2qp6IMoY. I grabbed a quick bite to eat and headed up for my race run.
My race run was great, I pushed it hard to the line and had a fairly clean run and managed to take the win. I was happy with this and was good to get my 1st win on board the Pulse before heading to Spain next week for some much needed sun and dusty trails.

I will be setting off to Spain next week for some training so expect to see some cool Contour footage in the next few weeks.
